Terrace Restaurant

We had a fantastic buffet style lunch here. Not something we'd usually go for but that was the only choice on the day but we're so glad that it was. Starter, main and pudding all fantastic. The brisket and salmon were cooked to perfection and the chocolate brownie was exceptional. Special mention also to the tartare sauce, which I normally avoid. Staff brilliant. Only learning but they were so eager to please. Great lunch.

The food was so incredible, they give other "more experienced" restaurants a run for their money. The menu changes every week as it's primarily a training restaurant. They also book up really quick are are only open for short amounts of times but they are it is so worth going out of your way for. We visited for lunch and it was an Indian inspired meal (I was initially skeptical being Indian myself). However, I was blown away by all the flavours and the skill that every element was cooked with. The food is fresh and everything was homemade since the students are learning to make everything from scratch. The dishes were all incredible and were the perfect portion sizes. Well done to all the students and staff. Some constructive feedback would be that maybe they could have little feedback cards on the tables for students so they can get both positive and constructive feedback about all their hard work! I can't wait to be back!

Went tonight to celebrate our sons 16th birthday. Cannot fault the service, atmosphere or the food. Worth every penny. Audrey and her team go above and beyond to make sure everything is spot on. Very professional personal service and what value for money!!!

Amazing place, staff and the food. Best place by far anywhere in west lothian. If you are luck enough to book a table you will not be disappointed.

Celebrated an 89 th birthday last night with family Couldn’t have picked a better place Atmosphere and service was 100% Audrey and her The trainee staff , worked very well and the food was great Thank you everyone involved who helped make it a very special night Hopefully we will be back

Lovely lunch at the Terrace today. Food quality is amazing. This a restaurant for training staff so give the staff some leeway. Well worth visiting and we highly recommend it….

What an absolute pleasure to have enjoyed our 6 course degustation it was simply sublime. Well done to the students and tutors you have done your self proud tonight.
